On June 5, 2021 God’s Country Marathon returned after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under new leadership, the race started a rebuilding process to make improvements to the event. In March of 2021, The Potter-Leader Enterprise published an article titled “Runners, rejoice: God’s Country Marathon plans return”
Upon completion of the race a recap article was published to announce winners and share race highlights from a successful event in Potter County.
